homosexuality is of christ

homosexuality is of christ. actually, to be more clear supporting, affirming, and celebrating homosexuality is christ.

(1)homosexuals have never been found wanting in any sector of society compared to heterosexuals. they are not less a brother, friend, attorney, administrator, neighbor, father, soldier, neighbor, etc.

(2)homosexuals bond in the same spirit as heterosexuals, that is out of love, trust, devotion, affection, respect for committed shared life together.

(3)jesus said "we would recognize them by their fruits". homosexual believing marriages are filled with the fruit of the spirit in the same way as heterosexual believing marriages.

(4)jesus also said a "good tree cannot produce bad fruit and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit." homosexuals proclaim that there orientation is good postive and affirming and their lives are filled with the fruit of the spirit. could you say the same thing of those who said the same thing of murder, adultery, and thievery. would the essence of their lives that stood on this proclamation be filled with the fruit of the spirit. of course not. yet it is for homosexuals.

those who chose to keep one foot firmly implanted in the old covenant by continuing a deut 28 relationship to god thru the law, do it by assigning meaning to verses in spite of their words. there is no scripture that says homosexuality is a sin.(kjv) this so called understanding or teaching has been passed down generationally and culturally for 700 years among non believers as well as believers.

this becomes obvious in that those who hold this understanding are unable to explain how the words of of the verses that they have assigned meaning to actually actually say this.

  1. You are correct when you say that there is no verse in the New Testament in the KJV that uses the word ‘homosexuality’ and condemns it, but that is irrelevant. Firstly, the KJV is not the most precise and accurate translation from the Greek. The NIV is thought by many to be the better translation. For example, the word ‘hell’ appears in 23 separate verses in the KJV, but only 14 times in the NIV. What does this mean? Is the NIV softer on sinners than the KJV because of the words it uses? No. Are those other 9 verses missing in the NIV? No. The NIV translates some of those words as ‘Gehenna’ or similar because that is a more accurate and nuanced translation of the Greek. So it is with the topic of homosexuality. What the NIV (and other, more modern versions) translate as homosexual the KJV translates as “abusers of themselves with mankind” (1 Cor 6:9) or “them that defile themselves with mankind” (1 Tim 1:10). You should do a study of the original Greek text and decide for yourself which translation is actually the best, but make sure you look at the meaning, not just the word. (After all, I could claim that there is no verse showing that God created kangaroos because that word doesn’t appear, but there are verses that show that God created all living things, of which kangaroos are one...)

Secondly, what about Romans 1:24-32? Even in the KJV the condemnation of homosexual acts is clear (esp v27):
24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
    28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
It seems to me from this passage that “leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly” is a clear description of homosexual activity, and a condemnation of same.

  3. As for #2, what are you basing this observation on - wishful thinking? Homosexuality is by definition promiscuous. God bless those few that deviate from that norm.
I hope you continue to grow in your lvoe and knowledge of Christ! peace!

  4. Sin is defined by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil through twisted views from the adversary. The Law was given to the JEWS, not us. We were adopted in by Christ himself. Grace..undeserved, unmerited, 100% totally free. No strings attached..just His heartstrings and they are wrapped all around you embracing you as a child by our loving Father. Modern day Pharisees would have you think differently. Ignore them and be who you are, as you are. Love God and love others. Christ fulfilled the Law and is in you and loves you. Good point about the fruit. Jesus Christ is the tree of Life and He bears His fruit..Galatians love joy peace longsuffering etc. Love God and Love others? That's all you need to be concerned about.
